Box 2062 <br />Georgetown, Texas 78627 <br />Attention: Mr. David Singleton <br />SECOND EXTENSION OF LETTER AGREEMENT <br />Dear Mr. Singleton: <br />This letter ( "Second Extension of Letter Agreement ") shall serve as a five month extension of <br />the Letter Agreement between Southwest Land Services, Inc. (the "Consultant ") and the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas ( "City ") for development process consulting services executed on March 1, <br />2011 and extended by means of the First Extension of Letter Agreement dated July 22, 2011. <br />Additional Scope of Work and Compensation: <br />For and in consideration of the City's payment to Consultant of an additional $50,000, to be paid <br />at the rate of $10,000 per month, Consultant agrees to perform the following services during the <br />months of August through December of 2011 (the "Second Extension Period "): <br />Task 10 — Assist in the implementation of recommendations presented the Final Report delivered <br />by Consultant to the City Manager on July 21, 2011. <br />Task 11 — Continue review of current development process and make additional <br />recommendations as appropriate. <br />Task 12 - Help the Assistant Director of Development Services in charge of the Permit Center <br />implement new policies. <br />Task 13 — Participate in a systematic review of the Land Development Code. <br />Task 14 — Continue to serve as an ombudsman on behalf of Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc. in <br />its interactions with city staff during the construction of its facilities at the San Marcos <br />Municipal Airport. <br />Task 15 - Continue to assist C & G Development in negotiation of a development agreement. <br />
