RFP 211 -037 <br />equipment rooms. Acceptance will not be given until all required cable and <br />equipment has been installed and marked appropriately at the D -MARC. <br />2. All new or enhanced services perform at 100% availability, without any failures, <br />for a period of 10 business days. <br />3. The successful Proponent has met expectations with regard to the installation <br />requirements, repair procedures and history file, and has supplied to the City any <br />other requested documentation or information requested within this RFP based <br />on a survey conducted by the City. Upon completion of the site survey, the City <br />will submit a letter to the successful Proponent detailing any items that may <br />require further attention by the successful Proponent prior to the City's <br />acceptance of the Project. Any changes and /or corrections required as a result <br />of this survey will be corrected by the successful Proponent within two weeks of <br />receipt of this letter. <br />4. Evidence that all subcontractors have been paid in full by the successful <br />Proponent prior to system acceptance by the City. <br />5. Final acceptance will be authorized by the City upon the implementation and <br />operation of the Project without failure for a continuous thirty (30) day period. <br />6. The Project will not be deemed accepted by the City until the repair history <br />procedure has been approved by both the City and the successful Proponent. <br />7. Upon final acceptance, the City will issue a letter of acceptance to the Proponent <br />stating the acceptance date. <br />K. MAINTENANCE AND ONGOING SERVICE: The maintenance of all equipment <br />and services by the successful Proponent commences on the day the Project is <br />accepted by the City. The successful Proponent will maintain ownership of all onsite <br />cable, materials, and equipment associated with the Project until all such items are <br />incorporated into the Project. The equipment includes Decoder Service Unit <br />( "DSU ") /Coder Service Unit (s) ( "CSU "), Drop & Insert Muxes, and any other equipment <br />needed for the total turnkey installation of the Project. The successful Proponent will <br />incur all costs for any material, cable or equipment repairs. If, during the contract <br />period, any specific equipment, component or cable requires maintenance deemed <br />excessive by manufacturer standards, the successful Proponent will replace the item at <br />no cost to the City. <br />The successful Proponent will provide all maintenance at no cost to the City at the City's <br />location specifically related to onsite equipment and cable installed by the successful <br />Proponent. All travel expenses incurred in providing the City this onsite maintenance <br />for the duration of the Project will be the sole responsibility of the successful Proponent. <br />The successful Proponent will provide all maintenance test equipment, replacement <br />parts, and qualified personnel to maintain and service the City equipment and cable. <br />0 <br />
