corrections required as a result of this survey will be corrected by the Contractor <br />within fourteen (14) calendar days of its receipt of this letter. <br />D) Evidence that all subcontractors have been paid in full by the successful <br />Proponent prior to system acceptance by the City. <br />E) Implementation and operation of the Project has continued without failure for a <br />continuous thirty (30) calendar day period. <br />The acceptance period is defined as the ten (10) business days from the date of installation and <br />activation of the Project wherein the City will determine whether the Project has been <br />satisfactorily completed and is suitable for acceptance by the City. The Project will not be <br />deemed accepted by the City until the repair history procedure has been approved by both the <br />City and the Contractor. Upon final acceptance, the City will issue a letter of acceptance to the <br />Contractor fixing the acceptance date. <br />1.1.7 Maintenance and On2oina Service,: Commence maintenance of all equipment and <br />services on the day the Project is finally accepted by the City. The Contractor will maintain <br />ownership of all onsite cable, materials, and equipment associated with the Project until all such <br />items are incorporated into the Project. The equipment includes Decoder Service Unit(s) <br />( "DSU ") /Coder Service Unit(s) ( "CSU "), Drop & Insert Muxes, and any other equipment needed <br />for the total turnkey installation of the Project. The Contractor will incur all costs for any <br />material, cable or equipment repairs. If, during the contract period, any specific equipment, <br />component or cable requires maintenance deemed excessive by manufacturer standards, the <br />Contractor will replace the item at no cost to the City. The Contractor will provide all <br />maintenance related to onsite equipment and cable installed by the Contractor at the City's <br />location(s) at no additional cost to the City. All travel expenses incurred by the Contractor in <br />providing maintenance are included in the total Project costs and are the sole responsibility of the <br />Contractor. The Contractor will provide all maintenance test equipment, replacement parts, and <br />qualified personnel to maintain and service the City equipment and cable. <br />1.1.8 System Failures: Notify the City periodically concerning the status of all phases of <br />system repair. The Contractor will provide a system certified technician (the "technician ") for <br />all system failures as defined below. If the technician is required to leave the City site for any <br />period prior to completion of repair, the technician will inform the City of the reason for <br />departure and the estimated time of return. If the technician is delayed in returning, the <br />technician will notify the City of a new estimated time of return.
