EIA/TIA -569- Commercial Building Standard for Pathways and Spaces; EIA /TIA- <br />606- Administrations Standards for the Telecommunications Infrastructure of <br />Commercial Buildings; EIA/TIA- 607 - Commercial Building Grounding and <br />Bonding Requirements for Telecommunications; EIA/TIA TSB -67- Transmission <br />Performance Specifications for Field Testing of Unshielded Twisted Pair ( "UTP ") <br />Cabling Systems. <br />C) National Electrical Code, National Fire Protection Association, NFPA No. 70. <br />1.1.3 Utility Coordination: Place all orders for central office lines, Primary Rate Interface <br />( "PRI's "), private lines, long distance services, telephone numbers and any other requests in <br />coordination with the City. <br />1. 1.4 Grounding: Be responsible for proper communications grounding and bonding in <br />accordance with the National Fire Protection Association ( "NFPA ") as well as any local codes <br />that specify additional grounding and/or bonding requirements. The Contractor will verify that <br />the City's telecommunications grounding system is consistent with the equipment manufacturer's <br />recommendations for equipment protection and personnel safety and will bear all costs for this. <br />1.1.5 Commencement of Services: Prior to commencing any of its services, notify the City <br />that work has begun onsite. Once working on a site, the Contractor's technician will not leave <br />the site without informing the City of the status of the job, the reason for leaving, and expected <br />time of return. <br />1.1.6 Accentance of the Proiect: Satisfy the following criteria so that the City can finally <br />accept the Project: <br />A) Overall compliance with the requirements of the RFP 211 -037, as well as the <br />quality of installation and condition of equipment rooms. The City will not accept <br />the Project until all required cable and equipment has been installed and marked <br />appropriately at the D -MARL. <br />B) All new or enhanced services perform at 100% availability, without any failures, <br />for a period of ten (10) business days from the date of cutover. <br />C) Expectations have been met with regard to the installation requirements, repair <br />procedures and history file, and the Contractor has supplied to the City any other <br />requested documentation or information requested based on a survey conducted <br />by the City. Upon completion of the site survey, the City will submit a letter to <br />the Contractor detailing any items that may require further attention by the <br />Contractor prior to the City's acceptance of the Project.
