<br />1.2.2 Identify all utility lines as to which ones may be in conflict with the proposed <br />roadway. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Prepare preliminary plans showing utility conflicts and proposed road design. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Prepare a preliminary drainage report including a drainage area map, calculation <br />of the existing 25-year and 1 OO-year flows. Engineer will use the Rational method and/or <br />HEC-1 hydrologic modeling software to determine flow rates. Engineer will determine <br />interior (roadway) drainage flow calculations using the WinStorm hydraulic modeling <br />software. Engineerwill use TxDOT Culvert software to evaluate cross drainage structures. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Prepare a preliminary cost estimate. <br /> <br />1.2.6 Conduct a cultural/archeological survey for Aquarena Springs Drive and River Road <br />(at the drainage outfall) including: <br /> <br />(a) A 100% pedestrian survey with backhoe probing that conforms to the <br />"Archeological Survey Standards for Texas." <br />(b) Coordinate with the Texas Historical Commission to obtain an Antiquities <br />Permit prior to the investigation. <br />(c) Prepare an investigations report produced in conformance with the report <br />standards under the Chapter 26 Rules of the Antiquities Code of Texas. <br /> <br />1.2.7 Provide a technical memorandum summarizing a background research and field <br />investigation where the drainage outfall enters the Blanco River including: <br /> <br />(a) Background and field assessment of wetlands and other jurisdictional waters. <br />(b) Endangered/threatened species record information reconnaissance and <br />written coordination with the US Fish and Wildlife Services and Texas Parks <br />and Wildlife Department regarding compliance with the federal Endangered <br />Species Act. <br />(c) Cultural/archeological resources background reconnaissance and initial <br />Texas Historical Commission coordination services to obtain their <br />recommendations regarding project clearance. <br /> <br />1.2.8 Advise the City as to the necessity and capacity of a duplex lift station to convey <br />future flows from the low point at the intersection of River Road and Davis Lane to an <br />existing manhole along the existing 18" wastewater line approximately 700 feet southeast <br />of I H-35 frontage road. <br /> <br />1.3 PHASE 3 - FINAL DESIGN AND BIDDING <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Prepare final plans for both Davis Lane and the extension of Aquarena Springs <br /> <br />Dannenbaum2.wpd <br /> <br />3 <br />
