1.4.29 If professional design services or certifications by a design professional related to systems, materials or equipment are specifically required of the Contractor by the Contract Documents, the Consultant will specify appropriate performance and design criteria that services must satisfy. Shop Drawings and other submittals related to the work designed or certified by the design professional retained by the Contractor will bear the professional's written approval when submitted to the Consultant, the Consultant will be entitled to rely upon the adequacy, accuracy and completeness of the services, certifications or approvals performed by these design professionals. 1.5 ADDITIONAL SERVICES 1.5.1 Since the Consultant's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Consultant for additional services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. The Consultant will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services 1.5.2 Additional services may include, but are not limited to: A. Construction administration services that extend more than 60 days beyond the date of Substantial Completion of the Project. B. Consultant's responses to Contractor's requests for information when this information is available to the Contractor from a careful study and comparison of the contract documents, field conditions, other City provided information, or prior Project correspondence or documentation. C. Any further services provided by the Consultant if the Contractor has not achieved Substantial Completion of the Project within four months from the Notice to Proceed for Phase I. D. Site visits required of the Consultant in excess of 9 visits over the duration of the construction consisting of one meeting for pre-bid, one for preconstruction, six during construction and one during the warranty period. E. More than two reviews of any shop drawing, product data item, sample, or similar submittal that are required of the Consultant, through no fault of the Consultant. F.
