Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding pending litigation, contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or a matter involving attorney-client privilege (Interlocal Agreement with SMCISD i Economic Development Agreement with San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce, hotel and conference center project) i Section 551.074, to discuss emploYment of public officers (Appointee EmploYment Agreements) i duties of public officers (City Manager and City Council Members) i and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting
