<br />· Motorized vehicles, roadways, and parking should be separated from the <br />buildings, outdoor gathering spaces, pedestrian pathways, and other developed <br />facilities at the park, to the extent allowed by accessibility and other regulatory <br />requirements. <br /> <br />. The parking drives should create a one-way loop drive at the terminus of the <br />entry drive. There should be no "dead-end"/hammerhead parking layouts. <br /> <br />· Parking spaces shall be angled off the one-way drive for ease of parking. The <br />angle may vary between 30 and 60 degrees as defined by the preservation of <br />existing trees. <br /> <br />. Parking space sizes should conform to City of San Marcos requirements. <br /> <br />· Parking lot turning radii should conform to City of San Marcos requirements to <br />provide sufficient space for school buses and emergency vehicles. <br /> <br />· Accessible parking spaces shall be provided according to Americans with <br />Disabilities Act (ADA) and Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS). <br /> <br />· A minimum of two bus parking spaces should be defined within the parking area. <br />The spaces shall be a minimum 10' in width and 45' in length. <br /> <br />· The parking lot surface shall be a crushed limestone native to central Texas <br />constructed to withstand vehicular traffic.
