ATTACHMENT A SCOPE OF SERVICES FRANKLIN LIFT STATION FORCE MAIN EXTENSION c. Attend bid - opening, prepare bid tabulation and issue a recommendation for award. KFA will attend the public bid opening. After receipt of bids, KFA will tabulate the bids in unit price format. KFA will evaluate the bids for responsiveness, meet with the low bidder if necessary, and issue a recommendation of award to the City of San Marcos. PHASE III — CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES KFA will assist the City of San Marcos with contract administration during the construction phase of the project. We understand the City of San Marcos will provide construction inspection services, and have assumed that the construction duration will be approximately 3 months. KFA's services will include: Attend pre - construction conference. KFA will attend a pre - construction conference with the City of San Marcos, Contractor, and other parties as appropriate, and prepare the meeting minutes. 2. Attend regular construction meetings. KFA will attend regular construction meetings with the City of San Marcos, Contractor, and other parties as requested by the City, including preparing the meeting minutes. For budgeting purposes we have assumed 3 meetings. Site visits will take place during these construction meetings, no separate site visits are included. 3. Submittal Review. KFA will maintain a log of all Contractor submittals, track review progress, review and approve submittals, and distribute submittals to the appropriate parties. 4. Preparation of Change Orders. KFA will prepare Change Orders as requested by the City. For budgeting purposes we have assumed two (2) change orders. 5. Provide answers to requests for information (RFI's) from Contractor as related to possible conflicts and clarifications needed between plans and specifications. Two (2) RFI's have been assumed. 6. Contract Close -out. KFA will attend a final project walk -thru, document "punch list items ", and issue recommendation of substantial and final completion. KFA will also notify TCEQ and other jurisdictional agencies of project completion. 7. Record Drawings. KFA will use the Contractor's redline as -built drawings to document as -built conditions in the final record drawings.
