<br />c) RevlSlons due to the remodelmg of a busmess that IS not subject to <br />admImstratIve approval under subsectIOn (b)(6)d above. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />The followmg provlSlons apply to restaurant permIts <br /> <br />1. Restaurant permIts are valId for three years from date of Issuance. <br />Each business holdmg a restaurant permit must apply for and obtam a <br />renewal permIt every three years. no later than the eXpIratIOn date of <br />the current permIt. A renewal permIt for a current permit holder may <br />be administratIvely Issued If the applIcant has complIed WIth all of the <br />prOVISIOns of this Chapter. all provisions of the permIt. and any other <br />applicable statutes during the prevIOUS permIt penod. and has not been <br />assessed any vIOlation values under thIS section. OtherwIse. the <br />applIcatIOn for the renewal permIt shall be considered by the <br />CommissIOn after a public hearmg. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />A busmess holdmg a restaurant permIt must become operatIOnal and <br />open to the publIc wIthm one year of Issuance. or the permit shall <br />expIre. Upon request of the permIt holder for good cause. the <br />Plannmg DIrector may permIt one SIX month extenSIOn. A busmess <br />holdmg a restaurant permIt may not cease operations or close to the <br />publIc for a contmuous penod of more than one year. or the permIt <br />shall eXPIre. <br /> <br />+1 A business holdmg a restaurant permit must comply at all tImes WIth <br />all of the followmg standards for To be conSIdered a "bona fide <br />restaurant~" for purposes of thIS sectIOn, a busmess must meet all of <br />the follO'.\'mg standards. <br /> <br />a) The business must have a kitchen and food storage facilities of <br />suffiCIent SIze to enable feed the preparatIOn and servIce of eIght or <br />more dIfferent entrees for the entIre premIses. The kitchen must be <br />eqUIpped WIth, and must utIlIze, a commercial gnll, gnddle, fryer, <br />oven, or SImIlar heavy food preparatIOn eqUIpment. <br /> <br />b) The busmess must apply for, obtam and mamtam a food <br />establIshment permIt m accordance WIth chapter 18 of the CIty Code. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />c) The business must maintam the same hours of operatIOn for the <br />sale and serVIce of food and alcoholIc beverages. except that food may <br />be sold or served before or after the legal hours for sale of alcoholIc <br />beverages. Dunng all times at whIch alcoholIc beverages are served. <br />the busmess must offer at least eIght dIfferent entrees. The business I <br />must serve meals to customers durmg at least two meal pen ods eaeh <br />day the bUSIness IS open. .'\ meal must consist of at least one entree, <br /> <br />6 <br />
