<br />Attachment B - ASSURANCES <br /> <br />1. The San Marcos Independent School District has no unresolved audit exception(s) with Hays County. <br /> <br />2. The San Marcos Independent School District agrees to comply with regulations, policies, and <br />procedures specified by the County as they relate to particular programs or service under this <br />contract. <br /> <br />3. The San Marcos Independent School District uses generally accepted accounting procedures for <br />fiscal management. <br /> <br />The San Marcos Independent School District will refrain from entering into any subcontract for <br />services without prior approval, or waiver of the right of prior approval, in writing by the County of the <br />qualifications of the subcontractor to perform and meet the standards of this contract. The The San <br />Marcos Independent School District agrees that it will be responsible to the County for the <br />performance of any subcontractor. <br /> <br />5. The San Marcos Independent School District will maintain records on clients and statistical information <br />as required and in a format specified by the County. <br /> <br />6. The San Marcos Independent School District certifies that he has not been terminated or denied <br />renewal of any contract for non-compliance with policies or regulations of any state or federally funded <br />program within the past 24 months. <br /> <br />7. The San Marcos Independent School District agrees to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of <br />1964 (Public Law 88-352), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Public Law 93-112), The <br />Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-336), and all amendments to each, and all <br />requirements imposed by the regulations issued pursuant to these acts. In addition, the The San <br />Marcos Independent School District agrees to comply with Title 40, Chapter 73, of the Texas <br />Administrative Code. These provide in part that no persons in the United States shall. on the grounds <br />of race, color, national origin. sex, age, disability, political beliefs or religion be excluded from <br />participation in. or denied, any aid, care, service or other benefits provided by federal and/or state <br />funding, or otherwise be subjected to discriminatio'l. <br /> <br />The San Marcos Independent School District must comply with requirements of the Immigration <br />Reform and Control Act of 1986 regarding employment verification and retention of verification forms <br />for any individuals hired on or after November 6, 1986, who will perform any labor or services under <br />this contract. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATION: <br /> <br />The person or persons signing this contract warrant and guarantee to having been duly authorized to execute <br />contract.
