<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 2005- 1 h 4 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AMENDMENT NO 1 TO THE AGREEMENT <br />WITH MARGIE V MOORE, d/b/a GLOBAL MARKETEER <br />GROUP, FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS <br />AMENDMENT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />1 The City CouncIl on October 4, 2005 approved an agreement (the "Agreement") wIth <br />MargIe V Moore, d/b/a Global Marketeer Group ("GMG") for economIC development serVIces. <br /> <br />2 The CIty CounCIl, as part ofthe Agreement, reqUIred GMG to hue a full-tIme EconomIc <br />Development DIrector, and on October 18, 2005, the CIty CouncIl approved the hmng by GMG of <br />Mr Jim Aanstoos as EconomIC Development DIrector <br /> <br />3 The salary and benefits approved by the CIty CouncIl for the EconomIc Development <br />DIrector reqUIre that an amendment be made to the Agreement. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS' <br /> <br />PART 1. The terms and condItIons of the attached Amendment No 1 to the EconomIc <br />Development ServIces Agreement between the City of San Marcos and MargIe V Moore, d/b/a <br />Global Marketeer Group, are approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The CIty Manager, Dan O'Leary, IS authOrIzed to execute thIS amendment on <br />behalf of the CIty of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3.
