133. THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS HOUSING REHABILITATION AGREEMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM THIS AGREEMENT, is made this day of , 2000, between the City of San Marcos, Texas, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas (the "City"), and (the "Subrecipient"). WITNESSETH THAT: The City has been awarded grant funds which may be spent by the City for the provision of certain services authorized under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program; and The City wishes to assist the Subrecipient in the rehabilitation of its residence located at , by providing funds to reimburse the Subrecipient, its materials supplier or its contractor (as applicable) for materials and equipment to be utilized in the rehabilitation as specified in the attached Statement of Work (Exhibit "A") submitted by the Subrecipient for the proposed rehabilitation. Now therefore, the City and Subrecipient agree as follows: ARTICLE 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1 The City will reimburse 100% of the total amount spent but in no event will the City reimburse more that $3,000. Grant funds will not be used to pay the Subrecipient or members of its family for labor. 1.2 Payment or reimbursement will be made by the City for completed work only after the work has been inspected and found to be satisfactorily completed by the City's Building Inspector(s) and/or the Subrecipient. If the work is being performed by the Subrecipient, the City will reimburse the Subrecipient for completed work only after paid invoice(s) or receipt(s) have been submitted to the City. If the work is being performed by a contractor on behalf of the Subrecipient, the City will pay the contractor for completed work only after itemized invoice(s) or bill(s) have been submitted to the City. 1.3 The Subrecipient will not deviate from the work described in the Statement 1
