<br />133. <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />HOUSING REHABILITATION AGREEMENT <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, is made this day of , 2000, between the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas (the "City"), and <br />(the "Subrecipient"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> <br />The City has been awarded grant funds which may be spent by the City for the <br />provision of certain services authorized under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development ("HUD") Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program; and <br /> <br />The City wishes to assist the Subrecipient in the rehabilitation of its <br />residence located at , by providing funds <br />to reimburse the Subrecipient, its materials supplier or its contractor (as applicable) for <br />materials and equipment to be utilized in the rehabilitation as specified in the attached <br />Statement of Work (Exhibit "A") submitted by the Subrecipient for the proposed <br />rehabilitation. <br /> <br />Now therefore, the City and Subrecipient agree as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />1.1 The City will reimburse 100% of the total amount spent but in no event will the City <br />reimburse more that $3,000. Grant funds will not be used to pay the Subrecipient or <br />members of its family for labor. <br /> <br />1.2 Payment or reimbursement will be made by the City for completed work only after <br />the work has been inspected and found to be satisfactorily completed by the City's Building <br />Inspector(s) and/or the Subrecipient. If the work is being performed by the Subrecipient, <br />the City will reimburse the Subrecipient for completed work only after paid invoice(s) or <br />receipt(s) have been submitted to the City. If the work is being performed by a contractor <br />on behalf of the Subrecipient, the City will pay the contractor for completed work only after <br />itemized invoice(s) or bill(s) have been submitted to the City. <br /> <br />1.3 The Subrecipient will not deviate from the work described in the Statement <br /> <br />1 <br />
