<br />(b) Lane markers shall be marked in red traffic paint with at least <br />a six-inch stroke. <br /> <br />(c) The terms "no parking" and "fire lane" shall be written in white paint <br />contrasting with the red background in six-inch lettering with a one- <br />half inch stroke at ten-foot alternating intervals. <br /> <br />(d) Fire hydrants must have a clearance zone marked at least 15 feet on <br />all sides in the same manner described in subsections (a) and (c) <br />above. <br /> <br />602.6.8 Parking in or obstructing fire zones or fire lanes, except by permit <br />issued by the fire marshal, is prohibited at all times. <br /> <br />602.6.9 The fire chief, fire marshal, their designees, building inspectors and <br />all law enforcement officers are authorized to enforce the provisions of <br />section 602.6. <br /> <br />Section 603.17 is amended by adding the following: <br /> <br />Numbers shall be a minimum of six inches in height for commercial <br />occupancies and three inches in height for residential occupancies. <br />Numbers shall clearly contrast with the background to which they are affixed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this <br />ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the <br />remaining provisions ofthis ordinance shall remain in effect as ifthe unconstitutional or invalid <br />portion had not been adopted. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a <br />misdemeanor and is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos City <br />Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 5.
