<br />Project. The documents will consist of drawings and project manuals setting forth in detail <br />the requirements for the construction of the Project in compliance with applicable <br />ordinances, codes and laws of the City, State and Federal governments. Drawings will <br />include plan views, section and details clearly defining and describing the intent of the <br />improvements, limits of work and storage areas, sequencing requirements, access routes <br />and contractor staging and storage areas. <br /> <br />1.2.10 Produce final construction contract drawings to include one cover sheet, one detail <br />sheet, one note sheet, and eight plan and profile sheets, prepared with computer aided <br />design and drawing technology (Micro Station). <br /> <br />1.2.11 Conduct four meetings with the City to discuss the Project progress during the <br />engineering design and final plan production phase. These meetings will occur at final plan <br />production initiation, 30% plan submittal, 60% plan submittal and at final plan submittal. <br /> <br />1.2.12 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the <br />Engineer's representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the design <br />and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components <br />within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant <br />deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the <br />Engineer will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each <br />component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all project <br />participants. The Engineer will conduct weekly progress meetings between the Project <br />team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.2.13 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents <br />required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - COST ESTIMATE <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Provide to the City a written statement of probable construction cost based upon <br />prevailing market conditions at the conclusion of the preliminary engineering and again <br />prior to the bidding of the Project. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - PERMITS/APPROV ALS <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Prepare the necessary application for Hays County approval of the Project. As <br />necessary, discuss the Project with Hays County officials. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Meet with representatives of the Texas Department of Transportation ("TxDOT") <br /> <br />3 <br />
