PUBLIC HEARINGS 17. Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or 94ainst Ordinance 2011 -60 concerning a 10.735 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1311 North IH -35; approving an amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City from "C" Commercial to "HDR" High Density Residential for a 2.547 acre, more or less, portion of said tract; amending the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning 8.188 acres of said tract from 'IMF-24" Multiple - Family Residential District and 2.547 acres of said tract from "GC" General Commercial District each to "PDD" Planned Development District with base zoning of 'IMF-2411 Multiple - Family Residential District; approving Planned Development District standards for the luxury apartment community at Thorpe Planned Development District; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties; and consider Ordinance 2011 -60. Matthew Lewis, Development Services Director, provided Council with a brief presentation on this request. Following the presentation Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately 7:21p.m. Ed Theriot, ETR_Development, asked for Council's positive - consideration and believed that - Matthew Lewis' presentation covered most of what he wanted to say. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:24 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomason and a second by Council Member Prather the City Council voted (6) for and (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2011 -60, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. 18. Receive a Staff, presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or a¢ginst Ordinance 2011 -61 approving an amendment to the Future Land Use May of the City from "MU" Mixed Use to 11HDR" High Density Residential for a 13 acre, more or less, tract of land out of lot 1. Block C of the Blanco Riverwalk Subdivision located at Riverway Avenue and Cotter Avenue: amending the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning said tract of land from "MU" Mixed Use District to I`PDD" Planned Development District with base zoning of 'IMF-24" Multiple - Family Residential District; approving Planned Development District Standards for the Blanco Riverwalk Subdivision Planned Development District; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties; and consider approval of Ordinance 2011 -61. Matthew Lewis, Development Services Director, provided Council with a brief presentation on this request. Following the presentation Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately 7:34p.m.
