PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />17. Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />94ainst Ordinance 2011 -60 concerning a 10.735 acre, more or less, tract of land located at <br />1311 North IH -35; approving an amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City from <br />"C" Commercial to "HDR" High Density Residential for a 2.547 acre, more or less, portion <br />of said tract; amending the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning 8.188 acres of said <br />tract from 'IMF-24" Multiple - Family Residential District and 2.547 acres of said tract from <br />"GC" General Commercial District each to "PDD" Planned Development District with <br />base zoning of 'IMF-2411 Multiple - Family Residential District; approving Planned <br />Development District standards for the luxury apartment community at Thorpe Planned <br />Development District; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties; and <br />consider Ordinance 2011 -60. <br />Matthew Lewis, Development Services Director, provided Council with a brief presentation on <br />this request. <br />Following the presentation Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately <br />7:21p.m. <br />Ed Theriot, ETR_Development, asked for Council's positive - consideration and believed that - <br />Matthew Lewis' presentation covered most of what he wanted to say. <br />There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:24 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomason and a second by Council <br />Member Prather the City Council voted (6) for and (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2011 -60, <br />as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />18. Receive a Staff, presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />a¢ginst Ordinance 2011 -61 approving an amendment to the Future Land Use May of the <br />City from "MU" Mixed Use to 11HDR" High Density Residential for a 13 acre, more or less, <br />tract of land out of lot 1. Block C of the Blanco Riverwalk Subdivision located at Riverway <br />Avenue and Cotter Avenue: amending the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning said <br />tract of land from "MU" Mixed Use District to I`PDD" Planned Development District with <br />base zoning of 'IMF-24" Multiple - Family Residential District; approving Planned <br />Development District Standards for the Blanco Riverwalk Subdivision Planned <br />Development District; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties; and <br />consider approval of Ordinance 2011 -61. <br />Matthew Lewis, Development Services Director, provided Council with a brief presentation on <br />this request. <br />Following the presentation Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at approximately <br />7:34p.m. <br />
