plan. Correlate utility owner records with designating data and resolve discrepancies using <br />professional judgment. Prepare a color -coded composite utility facility plan with utility owner <br />names, quality levels, line sizes and subsurface utility locate (test hole) locations. This <br />information will be provided in Microstation V8 or Geopak. <br />1.3.5 Attend an initial utility coordination meeting with all utility owners within corridor to <br />notify owners of project and begin coordination of potential conflicts and resolutions. Prepare <br />and distribute minutes from the utility coordination meeting. <br />1.3.6 Attend up to five (5) coordination meetings with individual utility owners to facilitate <br />additional coordination of utility adjustments, conflict resolutions, and utility agreements. <br />1.3.7 Determine which utilities will conflict with proposed construction and make the utility <br />company aware of these conflicts. Assist the utility companies in the preparation of <br />required agreements associated with the funding of adjustments and the occupation of <br />public right of way. <br />a) A packaged agreement consisting of (if applicable) a Utility Completion <br />Checklist, Utility Adjustment Agreement, Utility Joint Use Agreement, Affidavit, <br />Quitclaim, Easement Documents, Field Notes for quitclaim portion of easement, <br />Contractor Statement, Plans, Specifications, and detailed cost estimates (0 <br />reimbursable Utility Agreement Assemblies and 6 non - reimbursable Utility <br />Permits are anticipated for this project). <br />b) If a utility is located within an easement, the utility company may have a <br />compensable interest. The utility company must furnish a copy of their easement <br />to the Engineer. The Engineer shall determine whether or not a compensable <br />interest exists and the owner's degree of eligibility. The Engineer shall assist the <br />utility company with adjustment plans and cost estimate for these adjustments. <br />The Engineer shall review plans to ensure that the proposed adjustments will not <br />conflict with highway construction and will submit a copy of the easement, plans, <br />and estimate to the City by letter recommending approval. The utility should be <br />reimbursed all cost included within their easement limits for replacement in kind <br />unless otherwise negotiated by the City. <br />1.3.8 Update and maintain a utility layout in the Microstation V8. This layout shall include all <br />existing utilities which are to remain in place or be abandoned, and all adjusted utilities. <br />This layout will be utilized to monitor the necessity and evaluate alternatives. The <br />Engineer will utilize the layout of existing utilities as prepared, and make a determination <br />of the following: <br />a) Facilities in conflict with the proposed project that are to be relocated. <br />b) Facilities to be abandoned in place. <br />C) Facilities to remain in service and in place. <br />1.3.9 Deliverables will consist of <br />a) Existing Utility Layout & Electronic CD in MicroStation format <br />Kimley Horn - FM 2439 (Hunter Road) <br />C <br />
