Attachment A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />PROPOSED SESSOM CREEK WASTEWATER CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />PRELIMINARY DESIGN, DESIGN, BID, AND CONSTRUCTION PHASE <br />3. Attend regular construction meetings and conduct site visits- KFA will attend <br />regular construction meetings with the City, Contractor, and other parties as <br />appropriate and issue minutes of such meetings within 72 hours of the meeting. <br />KFA will visit the site to check the progress of the work and verify general <br />conformance with the project plans and technical specifications. For budgeting <br />purposes we have assumed six (6) combined site visits /meetings (each Project). <br />4. Submittal Review - KFA will maintain a log of all Contractor submittals, track <br />review progress, review and approve submittals, and distribute submittals to the <br />appropriate parties. For budgeting purposes we have assumed twenty (20) <br />submittals (each project). <br />5. Change Orders - KFA will provide review all Contractor's requests for Change <br />Orders and coordinate Change Orders with the City as appropriate. For <br />budgeting purposes we have assumed two (2) change orders (each project). <br />6. RFI's - KFA will log and respond to all requests for information (RFI's) from the <br />Contractor related to possible clarifications of plans and technical specifications. <br />Ten (10) RFI's have been assumed (each project). <br />7. Contract Closeout - KFA will participate in one site visit to determine <br />outstanding items and document "punch list items ". KFA will issue a <br />Certificate of Substantial Completion when the contract requirements have <br />been met. KFA will also notify TCEQ and other jurisdictional agencies of <br />substantial completion. <br />8. Record Drawings - KFA will review the Contractor's redline as -built drawings <br />and incorporate deviations from the construction drawings as appropriate. <br />KFA will deliver two sets of full size bond drawings and one pdf electronic <br />copy and one CAD copy. <br />Services Not Included In This Scope of Work <br />1. USACE permitting. It has been assumed that the project will fall under the <br />Nationwide Permit program and no notification or permitting will be required. <br />2. USFWS permitting. It is assumed that no formal coordination will be required <br />with USFWS. Informal coordination is included. <br />3. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. <br />4. Preparation of a formal Biological Assessment or preparation of a Section 10(a) <br />permit and habitat conservation plan (HCP) <br />5.
