ENGINEER
will perform an analysis of the collected field data to prepare a listing of recommended sewer lines
for approval by the City. The TV inspection will be recorded on videotapes and DVD. Concurrent
dyed water flooding will be performed with television inspection to verify locations of mainline
defects. Field inspection log sheets will be used to document problems and defects discovered
during inspection.
When obstructions are encountered, an attempt will be made to televise the sewer line from both
upstream and downstream manholes.
The sanitary sewer main cleaning shall be conducted in accordance with the standard NASSCO
specifications for sewer main inspection.
Assumptions: A maximum of 5% of the total footage (total footage estimated at 141,963 linear
feet based upon available information) shall be televised without request for additional
compensation.
