<br />Engineer's responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.6 Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer <br />will advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services, and <br />the Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble <br />this data and information. <br /> <br />1.1.7 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Engineer's <br />representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the design and <br />production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components <br />within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant <br />deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the <br />Engineer will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project addressing each <br />component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all project <br />participants. The Engineer will conduct monthly progress meetings between the Project <br />team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.1.8 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents <br />required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. <br /> <br />1.1.9 The Engineer will conduct eight project meetings during the design phase of the <br />Project and will conduct nine project meetings during the construction phase based on a <br />9 month construction schedule. The Engineer will take, prepare and distribute minutes of <br />those meetings to the City and the Contractor. The Engineer will also meet with the City's <br />Project Manager periodically or as needed to update the City on the progress of work. <br /> <br />1.1.10 Prepare and submit progress reports to the City with the Project invoices on a <br />monthly basis. Interim progress reports will be submitted bi-weekly. Progress reports will <br />include a summary of progress of work tasks, key decisions which require input from or <br />discussions with the City, and a list of problems or unresolved issues. <br /> <br />1.1.11 Maintain an issues list identifying the issue, the date it was a known issue, person <br />responsible for the solution, and the date the solution is required. <br /> <br />1.1.12 Head the Project team and coordinate the integration of design, surveying, right of <br />way issues, traffic control, utility Engineering, permitting, and other services as previously <br />approved. <br /> <br />1.2 PHASE 1 - UTILITIES AND PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Research utilities to obtain water line, wastewater line, gas line, electrical line, and <br />telecommunication line records. <br /> <br />2 <br />
