Deliverable: Five (5) year Operating Plan <br />Task 5 Create a Five (5) Year Finance/Implementation Strategy — Utilize data and <br />information derived from Task 4 above to identify capital improvements and operating <br />requirements to support an initial five (5) year operation of a new consolidated transit system, <br />and sources of funding from federal, state, and local resources to support same. <br />Deliverable: Five (5) year Finance/Implementation Strategy <br />The Consultant assistance will include but not be limited to the following: <br />• Meetings with representatives of the TSU transit shuttle system; <br />• Meetings with CAMPO regarding small urbanized area status; <br />• Meetings with TxDOT regarding emerging small urbanized area status; <br />• Meetings with FTA Region VI regarding pursuit of FTA grantee status; <br />• Meetings with representatives of Kyle, Texas to discuss consolidated transit system; <br />• Meetings with representatives of Hays County to discuss Urban/Rural Transit District <br />Creation; <br />• Meetings with representatives of CARTS; and <br />• Meetings with representatives of the Capital Metro Transit Authority ( "CMTA ") to <br />discuss transit coordination. <br />PART C: <br />Coordination and Reports: <br />Task 1. Coordination. The Consultant will review, analyses, findings, and recommendations <br />prepared in the performance of this work and coordinate with the City during the performance of <br />its work. <br />Task 2. Inspection of Work. The Consultant will permit authorized representatives of the <br />Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and City to review and inspect the study activities. <br />Task 3. Brief Progress Reports. The Consultant will submit monthly progress reports to the <br />City. These reports will outline work accomplished by task during the previous month or since <br />the last progress report. These reports will include, but will not be limited to, the percentage of <br />completion of the overall work product, special problems or delays encountered or anticipated, <br />changes in the estimated cost or the anticipated work activities for the next work period, and a <br />brief description of work accomplished, methodologies used, and conclusions reached, if any. <br />Progress reports will be prepared according to a format approved by the City. <br />Task 4. Credit, Disclaimer, and Acknowledgment Of Financial Support. The Consultant <br />will ensure that financial support is acknowledged for its work funded, in whole or in part, by <br />19 <br />
