<br />SECTION 11330 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ODOR CONTROL FANS <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />A. Scope: <br />1. The PROPONENT will provide, install, test, and startup all equipment <br />components, materials, accessories and incidentals as required to produce a complete Odor <br />Control Fan installation. The PROPONENT will provide field services to inspect the installation, <br />calibrate components as needed, and observe testing and startup of the equipment as provided <br />herein. <br />2. Items furnished under this Section will include, but not be limited to the <br />following: <br />a. Corrosion resistance centrifugal fan with all appurtenances and hardware, <br />including anchor bolts. <br />b. Motors. <br />c. Shop Painting. <br />d. Spare parts as specified. <br />e. Variable Frequency Controllers. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />B. General: <br />1. Descriptions contained hereinafter are for guidance and to show the functions <br />desired. They do not describe or specify all components to interface <br />equipment. All parts and equipment necessary to meet functional and <br />performance requirements will be provided. <br />2. PROPONENT will be completely responsible for the proper operation and <br />functions of the Odor Control Fans herein specified. PROPONENT will be <br />responsible for coordination of all interfaces to achieve the required Odor <br />Control System operation. <br />3. All fasteners (nuts, bolts and washers) used for Odor Control Fans will be <br />Type 316 stainless steel. <br />4. Odor Control Fans will be located in outdoor and corrosive areas. All <br />mechanical and electrical equipment and material will conform to NEMA 4X, <br />non-metallic requirements. Provide panels with a three-point latch door system. <br />Mounting hardware will be Type 316 stainless steel including fasteners and <br />unistrut. <br /> <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Odor Control Fan Manufacturer's Qualifications: PROPONENT will supply a fan from <br />a manufacturer that has a minimum of five years experience of producing similar <br />equipment and will be able to show evidence of at least five installations, of the same <br />size and type, in satisfactory operation for at least five years. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />B. Reference Standards: This Section contains references to the following documents. <br />They are part of this Section as specified and modified.
