iv. Motor torque (percent).
v. Motor speed (rpm).
vi. Set-point frequency (Hz).
5) Remote Indication Interface: A minimum of 2 dry circuit relay
outputs (120-V AC, 1 A) for remote indication of the following:
a) Motor running.
b) Set-point speed reached.
c) Fault and warning indication (overtemperature or
overcurrent).
d) PID high or low speed limits reached.
r. Communications: Provide an RS485 interface allowing VFC to be used
with an external system within a multidrop LAN configuration. Interface
will allow all parameter settings of VFC to be programmed via BMS
control. Provide capability for VFC to retain these settings within the
nonvolatile memory.
s. Manual Bypass: Arrange magnetic contactor to safely transfer motor
between controller output and bypass controller circuit when motor is at
zero speed. Controller-oft-bypass selector switch sets mode, and
indicator lights give indication of mode selected. Unit will be capable of
stable operation (starting, stopping, and running), with motor completely
disconnected from controller (no load).
t. Isolating Switch: Non-load break switch arranged to isolate VFC and
permit safe troubleshooting and testing, both energized and de-
energized, while motor is operating in bypass mode.
u. Bypass Controller: NEMA ICS 2, full-voltage, nonreversing enclosed
controller with across-the-Iine starting capability in manual-bypass mode.
Provide motor overload protection under both modes of operation with
control logic that allows common start-stop capability in either mode.
v. Integral Disconnecting Means: NEMA AB 1, instantaneous-trip circuit
breaker AB 1, molded-case switch with lockable handle.

F. Odor Control Fan Schedule:
1. At the WWTP, the PROPONENT shall provide a minimum offourfans, three duty
and one standby.
2. At the remote lift station sites, the PROPONENT shall provide a minimum of two
fans, one duty and one standby.

G. Access Doors: Raised type, stud mounted access doors with gaskets. Studs will be
imbedded and encapsulated in FRP housing.

H. Odor control fan mounting will be AMCA standard Arrangement 84 up to
40 horsepower, 50 horsepower and above will be Arrangement 1 with slide rail type
motor mounting. Fan base will be bolted directly to equipment slab and shop painted
with an epoxy coating for outsidel corrosive application.

I. Drains: Provide drains at low point of scroll, 1-inch pipe coupling welded to
housing with threaded corrosion resistant plug.

J.

Drive: Matched V-belts and adjustable sheave pulleys will be cast steel, sized for 1.2
service factor.

I

I

I
