<br />2. Hartzell. <br /> <br />S. Operation and Controls: The operation and controls will be provided at the odor <br />system control panel. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />T. Provide a parallel blade outlet damper where shown on the drawings. <br /> <br />2.02 SURFACE PREPARATION AND PAINTING <br /> <br />A. All gears, bearing surfaces, machined surfaces and other surfaces which are to <br />remain unpainted will receive a heavy application of grease or other rust/corrosion <br />resistant coating. The coating will be maintained during storage and until the <br />equipment is placed into operation. <br /> <br />B. PROPONENT will certify, in writing, that the shop primer and shop finish coating <br />system is compatible with intended outside I corrosive application as shown on the <br />Contract Drawings. <br /> <br />2.03 TOOLS AND SPARE PARTS <br /> <br />A. General: PROPONENT will furnish all special tools that are required to assemble, <br />disassemble, repair, and maintain any item of mechanical equipment, with respective <br />equipment. Special tools will include any type of tool that has been specifically made <br />for use on an item of equipment for assembly, disassembly, repair, and maintenance. <br />When special tools are provided they will be marked or tagged, and a list of such <br />tools will be included with maintenance and operation instructions describing use of <br />each marked tool. Additional requirements will be included with individual items of I <br />equipment. <br /> <br />B. Furnish and deliver the following spare parts for each blower size at each odor <br />treatment system. <br />1. Two sets of spare belts. <br />2. Two sets of bearings. <br />3. One spare fan shaft and wheel. <br />4. Two replacements Teflon seals. <br />C. Furnish list of solvents for cleaning dirt, grease and oil from surface of non-metallic <br />parts. <br /> <br />D. Spare parts will be packed in sturdy containers with clear indelible identification <br />markings, referencing the equipment that they are intended for, and will be stored in a <br />dry, warm location until transferred to the CITY at the conclusion of the project. <br />Provide complete ordering information including manufacturer, part number, part <br />name and equipment for each part to be used. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 INSTALLATION <br /> <br />A. PROPONENT will install and test all odor control fan equipment. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Odor control fan equipment will be installed as specified herein and as shown on <br />Drawings, and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and <br /> <br />I <br />
