<br />RFP 24-057 <br /> <br />587 -0702 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 15910 <br /> <br />DUCTWORK DAMPERS <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 SCOPE <br /> <br />A. Equipment furnished and installed under this Section will be fabricated, assembled, <br />erected, and placed in proper operating condition in full conformity with shop <br />drawings, and specifications unless exceptions are noted by the CITY or CITY's <br />representative. <br /> <br />B. Equipment furnished under this Section will be coordinated with other components <br />of the applicable odor control systems. <br /> <br />11.02 <br /> <br />C. The PROPONENT will install dampers to isolate equipment and balance air flows. <br />The air flow through the odor control dampers will consist of malodorous air fully <br />saturated with water vapor and containing an estimated maximum of 200 ppm <br />hydrogen sulfide and dilute sulfuric acid condensate. <br /> <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Each damper and control valve will be designed for the following conditions: <br /> <br />Air Temperature, of <br /> <br />0-115 <br /> <br />Design pressure, <br />inches water column <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />Design vacuum, <br />inches water column <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Drawings and Data: Complete fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings, <br />together with detailed specifications and data covering materials used, parts, <br />devices, and other accessories forming a part of the equipment furnished, will be <br />submitted in ac~ordance with the submittals section. The data will include, but not <br />be limited to, the following: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Dampers <br />Name of manufacturer. <br />Type and model. <br />Materials of construction. <br /> <br />15910-1 <br />
