Panelboards: Identify the service source, panelboard designation and voltage <br />characteristics. <br /> <br />D. Panelboards: <br />1. Prepare a neatly typed circuit directory behind clear heat-resistant plastic for each <br />panelboard. <br />2. Identify circuits by equipment served and by room numbers, where room numbers <br />exist. <br />3. Use equipment names and room numbers selected by the CITY OR CITY'S <br />REPRESENTATIVE; names and numbers may be different from those shown on <br />Plans. <br />4. Indicate spares and spaces with light, erasable pencil markings. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Boxes, Small Equipment and High Equipment: <br />1. Pull boxes and similar items may be marked with Dymo No. 158-4 vinyl <br />embossing tape with adhesive back in lieu of nameplates. Use Dymo No. 7123 <br />perma-stick liquid adhesive with the tape. Tape color, placement and spacing <br />must be approved by the CITY or CITY'S representative before starting this work. <br />Individually mounted disconnect switches and motor starters will be marked with <br />phenolic nameplates attached with stainless steel. <br />2. Provide identification stencils for high voltage equipment and raceways with the <br />legend "DANGER HIGH VOL TAGE." Mark all exposed high voltage raceways <br />every 25 feet. <br /> <br />Power Receptacles: Use nameplate or engraved plate to identify power receptacles <br />where the nominal voltage between a pair of contacts is greater than 150 volts with <br />circuit number, voltage and phases. <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />G. Wall Switches: Engrave the switch plate of the switch with the function of the switch. <br /> <br />3.04 TESTING <br /> <br />A. Test Conditions: <br />1. Place circuits and equipment into service under normal conditions, collectively and <br />separately, as may be necessary to determine satisfactory operation. <br />2. Perform specified tests in the presence of the CITY or CITY'S representative. <br />3. Furnish all instruments, wiring, equipment and personnel required for conducting <br />tests. <br />4. Demonstrate that the equipment operates in accordance with requirements of the <br />Specifications. <br /> <br />B. Test Dates: Schedule final acceptance tests sufficiently in advance of the Contract <br />completion date to permit completion of any necessary adjustment or alterations within <br />the number of days allotted for completion of the Contract. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Retests: Conduct retests as directed by the CITY or CITY'S representative of such <br />time duration as may be necessary to assure proper functioning of adjusted or altered <br />parts or items of equipment. Any resultant delay as a result of such necessary retests <br />does not relieve the PROPONENT of his responsibility under this con-tract. <br /> <br />1601() - 6 <br />
