<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />82. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004- ~R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A <br />REVISED HOUSING INFILL DEVELOPMENT <br />INCENTIVES POLICY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos is committed to the promotion of quality development in all parts <br />of the city and to improving the quality of life for its citizens. <br /> <br />2. In order to help meet these goals, the City wishes to offer development incentives to <br />stimulate housing infill development within the city limits or the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction <br />(ETJ) in accordance with the procedures and criteria in the attached revised Housing Infill <br />Development Incentives Policy. <br /> <br />3. It is the intent of the attached policy that incentives will be provided to appropriate <br />individuals and companies in accordance with the procedures and criteria described in the policy. <br />However, it is not the intent of the policy to imply or suggest that the City of San Marcos will be <br />under any obligation to provide any incentive to any applicant. It is the intent of the policy that all <br />applications for incentives will be considered on an individual, case-by-case basis. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached revised Housing Infill Development Incentives Policy for the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas is approved and adopted. <br /> <br />PART 2.
