<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sector One <br /> <br />Chapter 2 - Today <br /> <br />Rieht of Way <br />Right-oj-way is the land used jar public travel and property access, typically owned <br />and maintained by the city or state. Unused or unopened right-of-way is included in <br />the Vacant category. About 12% of the land in the Sector is used for street right-of- <br />way (22% of the developed land). <br /> <br />Vacant <br />Vacant uses include undeveloped land, unused public right-of-way, and other land <br />without a principal non-agricultural use, Vacant land makes up about 34% of the <br />Sector. The largest area of vacant land is located south of Purgatory Creek of <br />approximately 170 acres, including the Carson Tract and the proposed Albertson's <br />grocery store site at the corner of Wonder World Drive and Hopkins Street. Another <br />sizable vacant tract is located adjacent to the Bracewood Circle apartments. Much of <br />the remaining vacant land is located in or near the floodplain of Purgatory Creek. <br />Other individual vacant tracts are located throughout the Sector. <br /> <br />DRAFT: September 13, 2004 <br /> <br />2-9 <br />
