I I I 1.1.5 Any provIsiOns in this Agreement pertall1mg to the City's review, approval and/or acceptance of written materials prepared by the Engineer and/or its subconsultants, contractors, and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not dlmll1ish the Engll1eer's responsibility for the materials. 1.1.6 The Engineer wIll perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engll1eer will advise the City of data and informatiOn the Engineer needs to perform Its services, and the Engineer will meet wIth City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble thiS data and information. 1.1. 7 The Engineer will assemble a Proj ect team comprised of the CIty's representatives and the Engineer's representatives. The Engll1eer will meet with the Project team to set the deSign and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to venfy the components wlthm which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlmes involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this informatiOn, the Engll1eer wIll prepare a detaIled schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement of all project participants. The Engineer will conduct monthly progress meetings between the Project team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. 1.1.8 ASSist the City 111 connection with the CIty's responslblhty for fi lmg documents reqUIred for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdictiOn over the Project. 1.2 PHASE 1 - STUDY SERVICES The Engineer will: 1.2.1 Review Existing Wastewater Design. Complete a revIew of the eXlstll1g deSIgn of the Rlverside/MKT wastewater interceptor. The review will include an update to the opll1lOn of probable construction costs for the improvements as currently deSigned. In addItiOn, the review will evaluate the need to make modifications to the design to accommodate a larger pipe (36" diameter versus the 27" in the current design), address constructability issues and measures hke possible realignment to reduce the opimon of probable costs to match the available fundll1g 1.2.2 Detailed Route Analysis for the Water Lme and Siting for the Pump Station and Ground Storage Tank. Complete a detaIled route analYSIS for the ahgnment of the water lll1e, II1cludll1g a review of potential sites for the ground storage tank and booster pump station. The Engll1eer and the City anticIpate that the pipeline alignment will remain withll1 existll1g street nghts-of-way or CIty utility easements. The ground storage tank and booster pump statiOn wIll reqUIre the acqUIsitiOn of a site. Up to three potential sites will be identified and evaluated. 1.2.3 Coordinate with City Archeological Consultant. Coordinate with the City's archeological consultant in terms of any modifications to be made to the wastewater Improvement plans 111 the vicimty of the identified archeological sites. In addItion, the Engineer wIll coordinate With the archeological consultant concerning the water line alIgnment. 2
