<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.1.5 Any provIsiOns in this Agreement pertall1mg to the City's review, approval and/or <br />acceptance of written materials prepared by the Engineer and/or its subconsultants, contractors, <br />and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not dlmll1ish the Engll1eer's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.6 The Engineer wIll perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engll1eer <br />will advise the City of data and informatiOn the Engineer needs to perform Its services, and the <br />Engineer will meet wIth City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble thiS data <br />and information. <br /> <br />1.1. 7 The Engineer will assemble a Proj ect team comprised of the CIty's representatives and the <br />Engineer's representatives. The Engll1eer will meet with the Project team to set the deSign and <br />production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to venfy the components wlthm <br />which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlmes <br />involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this informatiOn, the Engll1eer wIll <br />prepare a detaIled schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to <br />be done, indicating the points of involvement of all project participants. The Engineer will <br />conduct monthly progress meetings between the Project team and the Contractor once the <br />construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.1.8 ASSist the City 111 connection with the CIty's responslblhty for fi lmg documents reqUIred <br />for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdictiOn over the Project. <br /> <br />1.2 PHASE 1 - STUDY SERVICES <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Review Existing Wastewater Design. Complete a revIew of the eXlstll1g deSIgn of the <br />Rlverside/MKT wastewater interceptor. The review will include an update to the opll1lOn of <br />probable construction costs for the improvements as currently deSigned. In addItiOn, the review <br />will evaluate the need to make modifications to the design to accommodate a larger pipe (36" <br />diameter versus the 27" in the current design), address constructability issues and measures hke <br />possible realignment to reduce the opimon of probable costs to match the available fundll1g <br /> <br />1.2.2 Detailed Route Analysis for the Water Lme and Siting for the Pump Station and Ground <br />Storage Tank. Complete a detaIled route analYSIS for the ahgnment of the water lll1e, II1cludll1g a <br />review of potential sites for the ground storage tank and booster pump station. The Engll1eer and <br />the City anticIpate that the pipeline alignment will remain withll1 existll1g street nghts-of-way or <br />CIty utility easements. The ground storage tank and booster pump statiOn wIll reqUIre the <br />acqUIsitiOn of a site. Up to three potential sites will be identified and evaluated. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Coordinate with City Archeological Consultant. Coordinate with the City's archeological <br />consultant in terms of any modifications to be made to the wastewater Improvement plans 111 the <br />vicimty of the identified archeological sites. In addItion, the Engineer wIll coordinate With the <br />archeological consultant concerning the water line alIgnment. <br /> <br />2 <br />
