<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.1.6 The Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer will <br />advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services, and the Engineer <br />will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data and <br />information. <br /> <br />1.2 PHASE 1 - PRELIMINARY SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Designate Jeff Kessel, P.E., PPESC , Project Manager and Mike Horvath, P.E., Program <br />Manager, Ecology as its representatives responsible for the completion of this Project.. The Engineer <br />agrees to obtain the prior approval of the City for any change in these designated representatives. <br /> <br />1.2.2. Perform those tasks specified in Attachment A of this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.3.1 The Engineer will submit a written scope of services and estimate of fees to the City and <br />obtain the City's written authorization before initiating any additional services. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer must <br />be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment B. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 4.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the <br />City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds <br />$25,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to and furnish the Engineer with copies of documents, data and <br />information in thc City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request including: <br /> <br />1. Property access and notification to thc San Marcos Treatment Center, University and any <br />other entity that has ownership in the proposed investigation area, including the surrounding <br />hillside and lowland areas. <br />2. Previous environmental studies and reports on the study area. <br />3. Engineering reports and studies of the site and receiving waters. <br />4. City maps and record data. <br /> <br />2.2 <br /> <br />Designate Laurie Anderson as the City.; Project Manager and authorized representative to <br /> <br />PBSJ2.wpd <br /> <br />2 <br />
