<br />SECTION 1. The San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan adopted in Section 102.026 of <br />the City Code is amended by the deletion of the existing Thoroughfare Plan in Chapter 4, and the <br />adoption in its place ofthe "Major Thoroughfare Plan" in the form attached to this ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 102.029 of the City Code is amended as follows (underlining <br />indicates added language and o';erstrike indicates deleted language): <br /> <br />Sec. 102.029. Sector Plans. <br /> <br />(a) The following sector plans are adopted as an appendix to the San Marcos Horizons <br />City Master Plan: <br /> <br />(1) The Sector One Plan. <br />(2) The Sector Two Plan. <br />(3) The Sector Three Plan. <br />(4) The Sector Four Plan. <br />(5) The Sector Five Plan. <br />(6) The Sector Six Plan. I <br />(7) The Sector Seven Plan. <br /> <br />(b) The future land use plan contained in each of the sector plans adopted in <br />subsection (a) acts as an amendment to the future land use plan of the City. <br /> <br />(0) Proposed thoroughfares contained in eaoh of the sector plans adopted in <br />subsection (a) act as an amendment to the major thoroughfare plan of the City. <br /> <br />(f El) The sector plans shall be used by the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and the City Council in guiding decisions regarding the growth and development of the <br />City. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Section 110.001 of the City Code is amended by a) revising the definition <br />of "alley" as follows, b) adding the following definitions for "freeway" and "parkway" in <br />alphabetical order, and c) revising the definition of "street" and the subdefinitions under that <br />defined term as follows (Note: underlining indicates added language and overstrike indicates <br />deleted language): <br /> <br />Alley means a public access easement minor public right of '.'lay, not intended to <br />provide the primary means of access to abutting lots, which is used primarily to provide I <br />vehicular service access to or from the rear or side of property otherwise abutting on a <br />public street. <br /> <br />2 <br />
