<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />List of Public Meeting attendees and public comments are on file in the Hays County OEM. <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />Based on comments and recommendations received from "Other <br />Agencies", questionnaires, and the Public Meeting, the Consultant <br />revised the Mitigation Plan in preparation for the Plan adoption by <br />Hays County Commissioners Court and each City Council. <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />Meetings of the Hays County Commissioners Court and each <br />individual community City Council to formally adopt the Hays <br />County Mitigation Plan <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />Hays County Mitigation Planning Committee provides assistance to <br />Hays County and participating communities to implement the Plan <br />as approved by Hays County Commissioners Court and each <br />community City Council. Participating communities will incorporate <br />the Mitigation Plan requirements and mitigation actions into other <br />planning mechanisms such as the Capital Improvement Program <br />(CIP), Department of Public Works activities and budgets, Parks and <br />Open Space Planning, and the Comprehensive Master Plan. <br />[TxDEM P-45] <br /> <br />March 2004 <br /> <br />Hays County Mitigation Planning Committee submits the adopted <br />Hays County Mitigation Plan to TxDEM for review and submittal to <br />FEMA for final approval. <br /> <br />The following activities [TxDEM P-47] are planned after submittal of the Plan to FEMA: <br /> <br />April 2004 <br /> <br />Target date for the Hays County Mitigation Planning Committee to <br />respond to Plan review comments from FEMA and ISO. <br /> <br />October 2004 <br /> <br />Target date for FEMA to evaluate and possibly upgrade the City of <br />San Marcos CRS classification and for FEMA to designate Hays <br />County and/or other Hays County communities as CRS <br />Communities (providing these communities have submitted CRS <br />applications) and the effective date for flood insurance premium <br />reductions to go into effect. <br /> <br />March 2005 <br /> <br />Target date for the Hays County Mitigation Planning Committee, in <br />cooperation with the Hays County Local Emergency Planning <br />Committee (LEPC), to conduct the initial 12-month (1 st annual) <br />evaluation of the Mitigation Plan. Public notice will be placed on the <br />Hays County and City of San Marcos websites requesting public <br />input to the 1 st annual review of the Hays County Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />2004 to 2009 <br /> <br />Disaster Event (future) - Hays County Mitigation Planning <br />Committee will meet during the disaster event to assist Hays County <br /> <br />Hays County, Texas <br />Mitigation Plan <br />22 <br />
