<br />67 <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />CO UNTY OF HAY S <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the San Marcos Con- <br /> <br />solidated Independent School District, a quasi-municipal corporation, <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its <br /> <br />President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", act- <br /> <br />ing by and through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agree- <br /> <br />ment pursuant to the terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant <br /> <br />to the terms of the Texas Election Code, to-wit: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular <br /> <br />election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, <br /> <br />April 3, 1982. Said joint elections will be held at the same pol- <br /> <br />ling places in each precinct, said locations being: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11 at Dunbar Center; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall; <br />In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School <br /> Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. 14 at Bugg Lane Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct No. 16 at Westover Baptist Church; <br />In Election Precinct No. 20 at Hays County Jail; <br />In Election Precinct No. 30 at Crockett School; <br />In Election Precinct No. 34 at City Library; <br />In Election Precinct No. 36 at First American Lutheran <br /> Church; <br />In Election Precinct No. 44 at Allen Wood Homes Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Department <br /> of Pub 1 ic Safety; <br />In Election Precinct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School. <br />It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administra- <br /> <br />tion of the elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> <br />will be shared equally by the School and City, provided, however, that <br /> <br />should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the <br /> <br />corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the <br /> <br />labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third <br /> <br />(1/3) of the cost of materials. <br />
