Such buffer shall be a minimum of six (6) feet in <br />height, and one hundred (100) percent opaque, except where <br />extraordinary circumstances exist where additional height <br />will more adequately accomplish the desired end. <br /> <br />(3) Caliper: Diameter at breast height (DBH). <br /> <br />(4) Contiguous: For the purpose of this chapter, contiguous is <br />defined as adjacent property whose property lines are <br />shared, or are separated by only a street, alley, easement <br />or right-of-way. <br /> <br />(5) Developed Area: That portion of a plot or parcel upon which <br />a building, structure, pavement, or other improvements have <br />been placed. <br /> <br />(6) Frontage: Lineal distance measured along all abutting <br />street rights-of-way. <br /> <br />(7) Ground cover: Low growing plants planted in such a manner <br />as to form a continuous cover over the ground, such as <br />liriope, low growing varieties of honeysuckle, confederate <br />jasmine, English ivy or others. <br /> <br />4 <br />
