<br />THENCE, leaving the said San Marcos River, in a
<br />Southeasterly direction with a Southwest line of
<br />the said State of Texas 189 acre tract, the said
<br />existing City Limits, to a re~entrant corner of
<br />the said existing City Limits, for an East cor~
<br />ner of the tract herein described;

<br />THENCE, in a Southwesterly direction, with the
<br />Northwest line of the said State of Texas 189
<br />acre tract, and the said existing City Limits
<br />to the East corner of the Benito Cruz Partition
<br />a subdivision of record in Volume 187, Page 134,
<br />Hays County Deed Records, for a South corner of
<br />the tract herein described, same being a South
<br />corner of L. Flores Street and being a re~entrant
<br />corner of the said existing City Limits;

<br />THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction with the
<br />\~ortheas:t line of the said Benito Cruz Partition,
<br />the Southwest line of the said L. Flores Drive
<br />and the said existing City Limits, leaving the
<br />said Benito Cruz Partition, crossing the afore~
<br />mentioned County Road, which is a projection of
<br />Hays Street, to a re~entrant corner of the said
<br />existing City Limits, for a West corner of the
<br />tract herein described;

<br />THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction, crossing
<br />a Public Road, which is anextension of the said
<br />L. Flores Street to an East corner of the said
<br />existing City Limits, for a re~entrant corner of
<br />the tract herein described, same being at the
<br />intersection of the North line of the said County
<br />Road, which is an extension of Hays Street, with
<br />the East line of the said Public Road, which is
<br />an extension of L. Flores Street;

<br />THENCE, leaving the said County Road, extension
<br />of Hays Street, in a Northerly direction with
<br />the East line of the said Public Road, extension
<br />of L. Flores Street and the said existing City
<br />Limits to a re~entrant corner of the said exist~
<br />ing City Limits, for a Northwesterly corner of
<br />the tract herein described, same being approx-
<br />imately 300 feet Southeast of the centerline of
<br />Interstate Highway 35;

<br />THENCE, leaving the said Public Road, extension
<br />of L. Flores Street, in a Northeasterly direction
<br />with the said existing City Limits, being approx-
<br />imately 300 feet Southeast of the centerline of
<br />Interstate Highway 35, crossing the aforementioned
<br />San Marcos River and continuing on to the POINT
<br />OF BEGINNING containing 135 acres of land, more or
<br />less.

<br />WHEREAS, notices of said public hearings were published
<br />in the San Marcos Daily Record, a newspaper having general
<br />circulation in said city and in the territory proposed for anr
<br />tion, on January 21, 1982, and January 22, 1982, respectively,
<br />said dates being not more than twenty (20) days nor less than
<br />ten (10) days prior to the hearing for which notice was given;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, prior to the publication of notice of said hear~
<br />ings, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, directed
<br />preparation of a service plan that provides for the extension
