<br />SECTION 2. That the consideration to be paid by John J. <br />Stokes, in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), said <br />amounrt. being the fair market value of said property as determined <br />by an appraisal obtained by the City of San Marcos, is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Emmie <br />Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute a special <br />warranty deed from said City to John J. Stokes. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That the importance of this Ordinance creates <br />an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the pro- <br />visions of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be read <br />at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become <br />effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the <br />date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions <br />are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and <br />be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and <br />publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the <br />City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of April <br />1982. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />s .
