<br />feet. <br /> <br />Thence, from the said north corner, South 520-57' <br />-3~' East a distance of 260.00 feet to the east <br />corner of said parcel, which is marked with an <br />aluminum capped iron rod in a concrete pier. <br /> <br />Thence, from the said east corner, South 370-02' <br />-29" West a distance of 210. 00 feet to the south <br />corner of the said parcel, which is marked with <br />an aluminum capped iron rod in a concrete pier. <br /> <br />Thence, from the south corner of the said parcel, <br />North 520-57'-3r'West a distance of 260.00 feet <br />to the point of beginning <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the purchase price for said property, in <br />the amount of $27,580.00, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />Emmie Craddock, is hereby authorized to execute a Special Warranty <br />Deed conveying said parcel of land to the Texas Department of <br />Public Safety. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That the importance of this Ordinance creates <br />an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the pro- <br />visions of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read <br />at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become <br />effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the <br />date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are <br />hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publica- <br />tion in a newspaper of general circulation within the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 12th day of July <br />1982 . <br /> <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />Janis K.
