<br /> <br />68 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1982-30 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE GRANT OF AN <br />EASEMENT TO SAN MARCOS TELEPHONE COMPANY, <br />INC. FOR COMMUNICATIONS LINES; AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN INSTRUMENT GRANTING <br />SAID EASEMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That that Easement granting to San Marcos <br />Telephone Company, Inc. the right, privilege and authority <br />to construct, reconstruct, operate and maintain its <br />communications lines, together with such underground con- <br />duits, pipes and other fixtures as it may now or hereafter <br />place on the easement premises, a copy of which instrument <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents <br />and purposes, be, and the same is hereby, approved in all <br />respects. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to <br />execute said instrument conveying said easement. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance <br />creates an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that <br />the provisions of the charter requiring that ordinances shall <br />be read at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall <br />become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days follow- <br />ing the date of its final passage be suspended, and these <br />provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in full force and effect from and after <br />its adoption and publication in a newspaper of general circula- <br />tion within the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 12th day of <br />1982. <br /> <br />July <br /> <br /> <br />Emmie Craddock <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />s K.
