-2- shall include, but not be limited to, services mentioned in Articles VI, VII, and VIII. VI. GENERAL CARETAKER SERVICES Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to provide general cemetery services; assist funeral homes and gravesite contractors prior to graveside services; and complete cleanup after services. A. Opening and Closing of Cemetery-- Cemetery gates are to be opened at 8:00 a.m. and locked at 8:00 p.m. each day during daylight savings time. They shall be opened at 8:00 a.m. and locked at 7:00 p.m. central standard time each day. This service shall be performed seven (7) days per week. At closing time Contractor shall tour the grounds to ensure that all citizens are out before locking. B. Caretaker Service-- Contractor shall have at least one full-time employee on site from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday each week. The employee shall be trained to locate gravesites, within two (2) weeks of award of contract. C. Grave plots and curb parameters are to be located and corners marked by Contractor as needed by City. The method of reaching Contractor (whether by tele- phone, radio, walkie-talkie, etc.) will be named by Contractor at award of bid. Response time for re- quests made by the City, on marking of gravesites and curb parameters, will be no greater than one (1) hour. D. Showing Lots for Sale-- Contractor shall be responsible for showing cemetery lots for sale to citizens visiting the Cemetery. The map of available lots will be pro- vided the Contractor by City within one (1) week of award of contract. The measure of performance by Contractor will be based on citizen response. E. Clearing Gravesites-- Gravesites, where funeral services have been held, are to be cleared once per month of rocks and other debris, and topsoil is to be placed on the grave. F. Clearing Dead Vegetation-- Fallen trees or tree limbs, dead vegetation and dead flowers are to be removed within two (2) weeks of their occurrence. G. Clearing Live Vegetation-- All small trees, overgrown shrubs or other plant material which germinates or is currently growing near headstones, curbs or other objects that could be damaged, shall be removed. Any small trees, overgrown shrubs or other plants which encroach on surrounding cemetery lots shall be cut back. H. Mausoleum Care-- Mausoleum care shall include sweeping out the building before services take place and destroy- ing wasp or other insects' nests inside the building. I. Weeds-- Weeds in gravel on gravesites shall be destroyed by use of herbicides. Weed height shall not be allowed to exceed three (3) inches.
