16 RESOLUTION 1982-45R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF TIETJENjOHNHEISER, A PARTNERSHIP CONSISTING OF HARRELL TIETJEN AND CURLY D. OHNHEISER, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($54,000), FOR A FIVE YEAR LEASE OF LAND LOCATED AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT TO LEASE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, desires to lease certain property owned by it in Caldwell County which is lo- cated at the San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, WHEREAS, said lease is to be for agricultural purposes and is to be for an initial term of five years; and, WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos duly advertised for competitive bids for said lease in a newspaper of general circula- tion in said City and in the area; and, WHEREAS, bids received pursuant to said advertisement were duly opened in public session on September 30, 1982; and, WHEREAS, Dinah Elwell, Director of Administrative and Public Services, recommends acceptance of the bid of TietjenjOhnheiser, a partnership consisting of Harrell Tietjen and Curly D. Ohnheiser, said bid being in the amount of Fifty Four Thousand Dollars ($54,000) for the five year term, yearly installments being Ten Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($10,800) per year; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby finds and determines that TietjenjOhnheiser is the best responsible bid for said five-year agricultural lease;now, there- fore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Agreement To Lease concerning land located at the San Marcos Municipal Airpor~ a copy of which Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated here- in for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved in all respects. PART 2. That the bid of TietjenjOhnheiser,a partnership consisting of Harrell Tietjen and Curly D. Ohnheiser, in the amount of Fifty Four Thousand Dollars ($54,000) for the five year term (being Ten Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($10,800) per year for said five year term) is hereby accepted. PART 3. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Emmie Craddock, is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement To Lease on behalf of the City. PART 4.
