85 RESOLUTION 1982-64R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREE~ffiNT OF LEASE BETWEEN E~1ETT F. MCCOY AND SAID CITY FOR AN OUTER MARKER SITE FOR RUNWAY 12 AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT OF LEASE ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, an Instrument Landing System is currently being installed at the San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, WHEREAS, as a part of said installation it is necessary to acquire a site on which to place an outer marker to direct aircraft toward said Airport; and, WHEREAS, the proposed site for the location of said landing aid to serve Runway 12 at said Airport is a tract owned by Emmett F. McCoy; and, WHEREAS, Emmett F. McCoy is willing to lease said tract to the City of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to acquire said tract by means of a twenty-year lease so that said tract may be subleased to the United States of America; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Agreement of Lease between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Emmett F. McCoy for a site for placement of the outer marker for Runway 12 of the San Marcos Municipal Airport, a copy of which Agree- ment of Lease is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and the same are hereby, approved in all respects. PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement of Lease on behalf of said City. PART 3.
