<br />I <br /> <br />provide the cover sheet and City of San Marcos General Notes, Division One specifications for <br />incorporation into Engineer's final design drawings. Engineer will use City of Austin Standard <br />Specifications in addition to any special technical specifications prepared by the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Provide erosion control plans to City to prepare and submit the Stormwater Pollution <br />Prevention Plan (SWPPP). The SWPP will be included with the final plans. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Provide deliverables to City for inclusion into a set of buildable plans and specifications <br />which will undergo scrutiny from the City, TCEQ, and any other approval authority prior to <br />actual construction. The Engineer understands that US Fish & Wildlife, US Army Corps of <br />Engineers, and Texas Parks & Wildlife will also review these drawings <br /> <br />1.3.4 Meet with the City's Project Manager periodically or as needed to update the City on the <br />progress of work. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Use its best professional judgment to create technical documents that comply with <br />applIcable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other <br />federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Ensure that no reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part under this <br />Agreement shall be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf of the Engineer. <br /> <br />I TASK 3 - CONSTRUCTION PROCUREMENT AND ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />The Construction phase of this Project will commence with the award of the construction <br />contract and will terminate when the Project is accepted by the City. The Engineer will: <br /> <br />Construction Procurement <br /> <br />1.4.1 Assist the City in the procurement of construction services and answer all questions of <br />potential bidders and City staff and make all necessary clarifications and interpretations of the <br />construction contract documents for the bank work. <br /> <br />Construction Administration <br /> <br />1.4.2 Provide administration of the construction contract as set forth in the construction <br />documents unless otherwise provided in this Agreement and incorporated in the constructIon <br />contract documents. Engineer will not pursue a course of conduct which might jeopardize any of <br />the City's rights hereunder. Minor deviations from the construction contract documents that do <br />not affect the validity of performance bond(s) are permitted. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Be a representative but not an agent of the City during the construction phase, and advise <br />and consult with the City and provide progress reports and advice to the City in writing; forward <br />the City's instructions to the Contractor unless (1) Engineer is unavailable by telephonic <br />Ham Prof. Services <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />5 <br />
