<br />(b) It is unlawful for a person to park or allow to remain parked a semi- trailer, <br />pole trailer, commercial vehicle, construction vehicle or farm equipment on a <br />vacant lot in any single family residential zoning district. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sec. 82.187 Restricted Parkin!! on Streets <br /> <br />(a) It is unlawful for a person to leave, stand or park a large motor vehicle, travel <br />trailer, personal watercraft or boat, either attached or unattached to a motor <br />vehicle on a public street in any single family residential zoning district in excess <br />of 24 hours. <br /> <br />(b) It is unlawful for a person to park a commercial vehicle larger than one-ton <br />capacity, farm equipment or construction vehicle on a street in any single family <br />residential zoning district for a period of more than 30 minutes, except during the <br />process of loading and unloading or active use. <br /> <br />Sec. 82.188 Enforcement <br /> <br />Officers of the Marshals Department and employees of the Environmental Health <br />Department and Planning and Development Services Department are authorized <br />to enforce this division. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. Chapter 34, Environment ofthe City Code is amended as <br />follows (underlining indicates added text; overstrike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sec. 34.191. Definitions. <br /> <br />In this division: <br /> <br />Junked vehicle means a motor vehicle that is self-propelled, inoperable and: <br /> <br />(l) does not have lawfully affixed to it eitheF both an unexpired license plate <br />ef and a valid motor vehicle safety inspection certificate; <br /> <br />(2) is wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled or discarded; or <br /> <br />(3) has remained inoperable for more than 45 consecutive days. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. Pursuant to Section 82.158 of the City of San Marcos Code of <br />Ordinances, the Traffic Register shall be amended to record the regulations established <br />by this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this <br />ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, <br />the other provisions of this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect <br />without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />I <br />
