Installation Cost of Services: Point-to-Point T1 one-time installation costs is <br />required on the Response Form. <br /> <br />a. 2300 IH -35 South (Police Department) to 110 E. Hopkins (Police Downtown Patrol) <br /> <br />7. SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />A. CONTRACT PERIOD: The successful proponent will be awarded a one (1) year <br />contract. This contract will be effective at acceptance as described in Section 3.L. <br /> <br />B. OPTION TO EXTEND: This contract may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) <br />year periods, provided all terms and conditions remain in full force and effect except the <br />contract period being extended. The contract price for any renewal period will be adjusted <br />in accordance with the cost proposal provided in response to this RFP. This option, if <br />exercised, is to be executed as a change in services, to be issued no sooner than one <br />hundred and twenty days (120) prior to expiration of this contract, nor later than the final <br />day of the contract period. This option to extend requires the mutual agreement of both <br />parties. Refusal by either party to exercise this option to extend, will cause this contract to <br />expire on the original or mutually agreed upon date. The total period of this contract, <br />including all extensions as a result of exercising this option, will not exceed a maximum <br />combined period of five (5) years. <br /> <br />C. CITY'S PAYMENT TERMS:lnstallation charges of services will be paid when all <br />installation criteria is meet as described in this RFP and when acceptance is completed as <br />described in Section 3.M. Monthly recurring charges will be paid on a monthly basis after <br />acceptance of services as described in Section 3.M. <br /> <br />D. GUARANTEED PRICING: The City reserves the right, upon project award, or for a <br />period of two years from date of acceptance, to purchase additional service(s) under the <br />terms and conditions detailed in this specification and at the rates quoted in the <br />proponent's response. <br /> <br />- 17 - <br />
