<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />9. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL <br /> <br />A. One (1) original and five (5) copies of the proposal, as well as the required Financial <br />Data as requested in Section 8.B.4, will be submitted to the office of the City Clerk, City <br />Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666 by January 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. <br />Sealed envelopes will be labeled as follows: <br /> <br />DO NOT OPEN - PROPOSAL - "Local, Long Distance, and Point-to-Point T1 Services" <br /> <br />B. Proposals received after the above date and time will not be considered. The City is <br />under no obligation to return proposals. Proposals and related materials submitted in <br />response to RFP become the property of the City and will not be returned. Any information <br />submitted by companies considered to be confidential will be so marked on the pages <br />where that information is contained. <br /> <br />10. EVALUATION OF PROPOSALS <br /> <br />A. EVALUATION CRITERIA: The proposals submitted in response to this request will be <br />evaluated by a committee of City staff and CCG. Proposals will be evaluated based on but <br />not limited to the following criteria: <br /> <br />Financial stability and local presence within the San Marcos, 20% <br />San Antonio, and Austin areas <br /> <br />Technical Implementation Staff; Account Manager, Project 20% <br />Management, Installation Technicians, Software Designer/ <br />Programmer, and Subcontractor(s) <br /> <br />Ongoing Service and Support Staff; Account Manager, Project 20% <br />Management, Support Technicians, Software Designer/ <br />Programmer, and Subcontractor(s) <br /> <br />Comprehensive & Detailed Implementation Plan which demonstrates 15% <br />the ability to perform successfully and responsibly under the terms of <br />the RFP. <br /> <br />Proposed Solution Pricing for Services Provided; both installation and 15% <br />Recurring monthly costs will be evaluated; as well as best overall <br />telecommunications solution for the City <br /> <br />Proponent Client References <br /> <br />10% <br /> <br />.23 - <br />
