<br />71. <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />9 <br />9 <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />AND HAYS COUNTY. TEXAS <br /> <br />KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of <br /> <br />Texas, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the County of Rays, Texas, hereinafter referred to as <br /> <br />"County", hereby enter into this Agreement for the mutual benefit of the parties in accordance with <br /> <br />the following terms and provisions: <br /> <br />ARTICLEL <br /> <br />1.01. This Agreement for the performance of governmental functions and services is entered into <br /> <br />pursuant to authority granted by the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, Government Code Section <br /> <br />9791.011, V.T.C.A.. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II. <br /> <br />2.01. The purpose of this Agreement is to authorize the City to enforce vehicle parking regulations <br /> <br />on property owned by the County. <br /> <br />ARTICLE m. <br /> <br />3.01. This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated in accordance with Article VII below. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV. <br /> <br />4.01. The City agrees to enforce the regulations adopted by the County pursuant to Local <br /> <br />Government Code, Section 9 445.001, V.T.C.A., as to the parking of vehicles for the 73 parking <br />
