<br />spaces located on real property (the "Property") owned by the County adjacent to the Hays County <br /> <br /> <br />Courthouse. The County agrees to designate handicapped parking spaces and to restrict the time a <br /> <br /> <br />vehicle may remain parked on the Property in the remaining spaces to two hours. Vehicles parked <br /> <br /> <br />in time restricted spaces longer than two hours, improperly parked or violating handicapped parking <br /> <br /> <br />regulations may be issued a citation by the City. The penalties for violating parking regulations on <br /> <br /> <br />the Property are the same as are outlined in Chapter 82 of the San Marcos City Code. A separate <br /> <br /> <br />violation shall be deemed committed for each period of time that a vehicle remains parked in a time <br /> <br /> <br />restricted parking space regardless of whether the violations occur on a single day or at the same <br /> <br />location. The City agrees to enforce these restrictions in accordance with similar regulations <br /> <br />contained in the San Marcos City Code. <br /> <br />ARTICLE V. <br />5.01. The County agrees to issue only 35 numbered permits for vehicles authorized by the County <br /> <br />to be exempted from enforcement of the two-hour parking restriction identified above. These permits <br /> <br /> <br />shall be attached to the inside of the vehicle's front windshield just below the rearview mirror of the <br /> <br /> <br />vehicle or in the absence ofa rearview mirror, at the location where a mirror is normally placed on <br /> <br /> <br />vehicles so equipped. A vehicle not displaying a valid permit in accordance with this Article is not <br /> <br /> <br />exempted from compliance with the parking regulations outlined in Article IV. <br /> <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. <br /> <br /> <br />6.01. It is expressly agreed that all revenues from fees and fines for parking violations will accrue <br /> <br /> <br />to the City and no payments by the County to the City or the City to the County will be made. The <br /> <br /> <br />City and the County specify that the governmental functions or services provided for by this <br /> <br /> <br />Agreement are to be paid from current revenues available to the parties and any fees and fines <br /> <br />-2- <br />
