C. There shall be a five foot (5') horizontal clearance between a street tree <br />along both sides of a sideyard lot line. <br />D. Where practical, street trees should be planted in the center of the <br />Planting Strip, between the sidewalk and the street. The Developer may make allowances <br />for utilities, light poles, fire hydrants, traffic signs, other required street signage, traffic <br />light and signal poles, and similar infrastructure, as well as sight and visibility triangles, <br />street breaks, and crosswalks. <br />8. Street Trees. <br />A. Street Trees shall be located along all streets, except AL1 -20 (except <br />where existing trees remain in the right -of -way). <br />B. Street trees include suitable shade tree varieties. The following tree <br />species are permitted: <br />• Bur Oak <br />• Cedar Elm <br />• Chinese (Lacebark) Elm <br />• Chinquapin Oak <br />• Live Oak <br />• Monterey Oak <br />• Shumard Oak <br />• Texas Red Oak <br />C. The planting criteria for street trees are: <br />(1) Street trees should be kept out of (1) intersection triangles at a <br />minimum of 25' by 25' and (ii) alley /street intersection triangles at a minimum of <br />15' by 15', as measured from the center of the intersection. <br />(2) Street trees shall be planted to avoid interference with street <br />lights, signage and other fixtures. <br />(3) Planting shall remain at least five feet (5') from edge of <br />driveways. <br />(4) Planting should be at least five feet (5') from fire hydrants. <br />(5) Street trees and median trees shall be planted a minimum of 4' <br />from the back of the curb, or as otherwise designated by the Director of Planning. <br />9. Street Type: BVD -74: Boulevard with 74' R.O.W. - Description: <br />A. Public Right of Way width: 74' <br />B. Design Speed: 25 M.P.H. <br />C. Pavement Width: Two - 20' lanes <br />D. Travelway: One lane in one direction 12' in width <br />E. Curb radii: 15' <br />F. Minimum centerline radius for curves: 300' <br />G. Minimum tangent between reverse curves: 100' <br />H. Minimum sidewalk width: 5' <br />1. Planting Strip width: 7' <br />J. Landscape Median: 10' <br />10. Street Type: RS -58: Residential Collection Street with 58' R.O.W. — Description: <br />A. Public Right of Way width: 58' <br />B. Design Speed: 20 M.P.H. <br />C.
