<br />H. Prepare and submit a permit application to TxDOT to construct pipelines in the IH 35 <br />right-of-way where applicable, and for applicable bores. Meet with TxDOT to coordinate <br />construction of proposed improvements in TxDOT right~f.way. <br /> <br />I. Prepare a storm water pollution prevention plan and prepare notification forms for <br />submittal to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> <br />1. Provide information to the City for the preparation of contract documents and prepare <br />technical specifications for the project. Contract Documents for the project will be City <br />Standard Documents. Theteclmical specifications win a combination of City of Austin <br />specifications and applicable City specifications. <br /> <br />K. Prepare final estimate of probable construction cost. <br /> <br />L. Submit three (3) copies of the completed plans, specifications, cost estimate and contract <br />documents to the City for review and comment. <br /> <br />M. Incorporate final review comments and finalize documents. <br /> <br />z. COastnldioB Pllase <br /> <br />A. Assist the City in advertising the project for bids. Provide scope for publication by the <br />City. Provide twenty-five (25) sets of plans and specifications, conduct a preconstruction <br />conference, and prepare one addendum for the project. An allowance of $75 per bid set <br />for printing costs has been included in the expenses for the project. <br /> <br />B. Attend bid opening, re"\;ew bids, and provide recommendation for award of contract to the <br />City. <br /> <br />C. Conduct a pre-construction conference between the City. Contractor and TC&B to discuss <br />general and specific requirements for fulfilling the construction contract. <br /> <br />D. Fumisl1 one-time control staking for the contractor's use in layout. Benchmarks, right-of- <br />way delineation. and controls at 2000' intervals will be provided. <br /> <br />E. The Construction Admin:istiator will make approximately twenty fOUl' (24) visits to the <br />site, "ludiug attending on-site progress meetings, approximately two (2) per month <br />(based on twelve (12) IJ1OIJ!b CODB1nlCtion duratioa) to observe the progress and quality of <br />the executed work. and to determine in general if the work is proceeding in accordance <br />with the Contract Documents. In performing this service, the Construction Admiuistrator <br />win not be required to make exhaustive or continuous on-site inspections to check the <br />quality or quantity of work or material; helshe will not be responsible for the techniques of <br />
