<br />construction or the safety precautions incident thereto; and he/she will not be responsible <br />or liable in any degree for the Contractor's failure to perform the construction work in <br />accordance with the Contract Docwnents. During visits to the construction site. and on <br />the basis ofthe Construction Administrator's on-site observations, be/she will keep the <br />City informed of the extent of the progress of the work, and advise the City of material <br />and substantial defects and deficiencies in the work of contractors which are discovered <br />by the Construction Administrator or othernise brought to the Construction <br />Administrator's attention in the course of construction. <br /> <br />F. Issue all instructions to the Contractor requested by the City. Issue necessary <br />interpretations and clarifications of the Contract Documents. Consult with and advise the <br />City with respect to routine change orders. Prepare and issue routine change orders with <br />City's approval. It is anticipated that a total of two (2) Change Orders will be issued <br />requiring a total often (10) hours each. <br /> <br />G. Check and review samples, catalog data, schedul~ shop drawings; laboratory, shop and <br />mill tests of materials and equipment, and other data which the Contractor is required to <br />submit. only for conformance with the design concept of the Project and compliance with <br />the information given by the Contract Documents. It is anticipated the shop drav.-ings will <br />consist of five (5) submittals which win average 1 ~ reviews per submittal and 2 hours <br />per review. Receive and review (for general content as required by the Specifications) <br />schedul~ guarantees, bonds and certificates which are to be assembled by the Contractor <br />in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />H. Based on the TC&B Construction Administrator's on-site observations as an experienced <br />and qualified design professional. and upon review of applications for payment and the <br />accompanying data and schedules, determine the amounts owing to the Contractor, and <br />recommend in 'ii\'I'iting payments to the Contractor in such amounts. It is anticipated that a <br />total of eleven (11) partial pay estimates and one (1) final pay estimate win be prepared, <br />each requiring three (3) hours to process. <br /> <br />I. Conduct, with the City, a final review of the project for compliance with the Contract <br />Documents and make a recommendation concerning the project's status as it may affect <br />City's final payment to the Contractor. <br /> <br />J. Prepare. for the City one (I) set of reproducible record dtawings based on the Contractor's <br />as-built markups of changes made during the construction process. Provide the City with <br />one (1) digital file of the record drawings in .dgn format. <br /> <br />K.. Provide certification to the City when work required by the Contract Documents has been <br />completed. <br />
